This three-unit dwelling was designed by Ray Kappe, FAIA, and was the first multi-family project in Silicon Valley to achieve LEED for Homes Platinum certification. It was constructed offsite for quick and efficient installation with minimal disruption to the neighborhood. See a video of the installation on Plant's YouTube channel.

The late Ray Kappe, FAIA, was Plant’s first design partner, responsible for the company’s famous Santa Monica show home (the first home in the world to achieve LEED Platinum certification), a number of remarkable custom projects, and several LivingHomes. His residential architecture is world-renown, characterized as 'the apotheosis of the California House.' Kappe’s designs evince a mastery of warm, modern spaces, clearly expressed construction systems, and environmental sensitivity.
