We’re proud to give you a quick preview of some of the tech-enabled machinery and equipment arriving at our new factory in Tejon Ranch, California.

Expanding our production capacity to support larger multifamily projects and single-family communities, the Tejon Ranch factory will produce both panelized and modular building components. The state-of-the-art equipment is part of Plant Prefab's industry-leading virtual design and construction process that will provide best-in-class production efficiency, speed, quality, and sustainability.

Hundegger Speed Cut SC-3

Our automated Hundegger Speed Cut SC-3 saw has seven separate tools that will allow us to cut, rip, dado, drill, route, print, and more. Working with the instructions from our manufacturing software, it will optimize the cutting of framing lumber by nesting parts together for virtually zero waste.

Weinmann Framing Stations

Our Weinmann framing stations will each produce wall panels in an extrusion-like fashion. They will allow us to produce walls ranging in size from 4.5’ to over 12' tall and up to 40' long.

Multifunction Bridges

At our multifunction bridges, sheet goods will be placed on top of framed walls and then processed utilizing nail guns, screw guns, routers, dust collection devices, and even inkjet printer heads. 

MINDA Tables and Weinmann Vertical Wall Transport

Our MINDA tables (foreground left) will allow us to combine individual panels to create larger panels, if required by a project.

Our Weinmann vertical wall transport (foreground right) is crucial for moving panels efficiently to their next destination: some panels will be wrapped and shipped straight to site, while others will be assembled into volumetric modules.

Also pictured is our MINDA wall storage (background left) where we will install windows, doors, siding, or other value-add operations.

Straddle Carrier

Our new straddle carrier will enable us to easily move panel bundles and modules of any size.
